　　职位描述及具体要求：

　　Job Purpose

　　• Supports product testing and characterization activities in China by assisting in planning and effectively conducting experiments in summer corn area;

　　• Recording and analyzing data, Involved in data sharing with Pioneer product delivery team, and counterparts of Pioneer JV and the partners;

　　• Participate corn breeding in Jinan center

　　• Supervise the management of Jinan research station

　　Duties/Responsibilities

　　• Take leadership in the trial quality control for China yield trials

　　• Take leadership in planting (by hand or by planter), field management, key traits scoring, and harvesting using Pioneer harvesting system for all trials in summer corn area

　　• Takes the leadership on the study of the climate types in China major corn markets and its application in corn breeding

　　• Involved in corn breeding work

　　• Involved in the management of Jinan research station

　　Educational qualifications

　　• MS degree in agronomy, or plant breeding with the background and/or research work on plant breeding and/or genetics, experience in maize breeding or genetics is preferred

　　Competencies and Experience Desired

　　• 2 years working experience in breeding and agricultural industry

　　• Fluent written English communication skills

　　• Conventional breeding knowledge and technology, and molecular breeding knowledge

　　• Fluent written English communication skills

　　• Well-organized with high attention to details

　　• Very good computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint

　　• Good team player and strong sense of professionalism

　　• Analytical and conceptual thinking skills

　　• Good presentation skill

　　• Strong commitment and intensive passion at work

　　• Enjoy challenges and multiple deadlines, high energy with strong sense of urgency
